Documents required when viewing properties
When it comes to renting a property, it can be a tough process as there may be a large amount of people looking to rent the same property. Its important that when you are going to view a property that you make sure to have all the correct documents required with you on viewing day. This will increase your chances to be picked for the property, as the agent will require these documents to do their reference checks.
Here is a list to make sure you have on viewing day:
– PPS No. (this is required for the registration of the tenancy with the Residential Tenancies Board) (www.rtb.ie)
– A reference from your previous landlord
– A reference from your current employer
– Photo I.D. such as a driving licence or passport
– Evidence of residency
– Recent bank statements
– Payslips
– Deposit and month up front
